On November 29, 2024, the IBS Library in Budapest transformed into a vibrant hub of shared memories as alumni from across the years gathered for our Alumni Night. Spanning generations from the class of 2000 to the class of 2024, the event was a full house, reuniting classmates, IBS leadership, and staff.
The evening began with a warm introduction from Dr. Serge Sych, Pro-Rector for Stakeholder Engagement, who facilitated engaging conversations that allowed alumni to share their career achievements and personal milestones. Among the highlights were stories of alumni whose children are now studying at IBS, continuing a family tradition. The occasion also celebrated unique connections within the IBS community, including alumni couples who first met during their studies.
Dr. Márton Rácz, Rector of IBS, addressed the gathering with updates on the school’s latest developments and future plans. His remarks offered a glimpse into the evolving vision of IBS and its commitment to internationalization and excellence.
After the lively networking session, the night concluded with a delightful reception. Groups formed organically, allowing attendees to reconnect, exchange ideas and forge new relationships, making it a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
To all IBS alumni, whether you joined us in person or in spirit, thank you for being part of our vibrant community. We wish you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Here’s to staying connected and celebrating more milestones together in the future!
