Hofburg Imperial Palace is a palace located in Vienna, Austria, that has housed some of the most powerful people in European and Austrian history, including the Habsburg dynasty, rulers of the Austro-Hungarian empire. It currently serves as the official residence of the President of Austria. It was the Habsburgs' principal winter residence, as the Schönbrunn Palace was their preferred summer residence.

Danube Tower (Donauturm) is the tallest structure in Vienna and offers guests and, unparalleled view over the Austrian capital.

Museum of Fine Arts (Kunsthistorisches Museum) houses some of the world's most famous paintings and art exhibits.

Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum) is one of the most important museums of the world, housing over 20 million artefacts, some of which have been housed in this location for over 250 years.

Naschmarkt is the largest and best-known market in Vienna. It was for many years solely a fruit and vegetable market, however, has in recent history grown into much more than that.

Schönbrunn Palace is a spectacular baroque palace that served as the summer residence of the famous Habsburg family from the 18th century onwards. The palace now sits on the World Cultural Heritage list. Entrance to the palace is unfortunately not free, however, the gardens can be enjoyed without cost.

Spanish Riding School (Spanische Reitschule) is the oldest riding school in the world where classic dressage still exists in its most pure form. The school was founded in 1572 and named for its Lipizzan horses which are of Spanish origin, although they are now bred in court stud in Piber in south-west Austria.

St. Stephan's Cathedral is one of Vienna's most recognizable symbols, St. Stephan's Cathedral, or Stephansdom in German, is a mix of Romanesque and Gothic and stands in the centre of the Austrian capital.

Vienna Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad) is located in a large, wooded park called the "Prater", the Vienna Riesenrad (Ferris wheel) is one of the symbols of the city. Before boarding, visitors are led through an exhibit that details the history of Vienna back to Roman times using elaborate props and audio guides

Vienna State Opera is undoubtedly one of the most important opera houses in the world. It is closely linked to the famous Vienna Philharmonic, whose members are recruited from here. The Opera is located on the Vienna "Ringstrasse", making it very central and near to other city attractions.
