Dr. László Láng's work has been characterised by a commitment to competitive business education and the development of an international learning environment. His leadership style and practice embodied what the school promotes to its students, one of the most significant parts being that leadership can only be a job that is enjoyable and provides freedom and equality to all parties involved.

Under his direction, the IBS has grown into the leading local institution for international business education, attracting students and professors from more than 100 nations. During his tenure, the IBS formed a pioneering partnership with the University of Buckingham, becoming the first and only business school in Hungary to have its courses recognized by a British university as its own, offering a prestigious double degree: students can earn both a Hungarian and a British degree from a single degree course. Two years ago, the college formed a collaboration with Dublin Business School in Ireland, making the Irish diploma available to students.

"It has been an honour to serve IBS for the past 23 years," stated Dr. Láng. "Of course, I am quite glad that we have created a school with a genuinely international reach and reputation, but I consider my greatest accomplishment to be the fact that employees come to this institution every day without stress or fear. A positive atmosphere and trust are necessary for creative and committed work. This is where true quality assurance begins, and it is followed by exceptional professionalism, British teaching approach, and international accreditation."

His successor, Dr. Márton Rácz, has extensive expertise in education, research, and administration. He has a Master's degree in Economics from Corvinus University, a Master's degree in Gender Studies from CEU, and a PhD from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is an expert in organizational theory and critical management research, with substantial experience as a manager, curriculum creator, and course supervisor at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral level. Most importantly, he has been widely known in the IBS community for many years, and the Senate unanimously approved his appointment as Rector.

The new Rector extended his gratitude to his predecessor. "Dr. László Láng has evolved IBS into a globally recognized British-style higher education institution with an international view and focus, as well as a respected position in the English education system. My colleagues and I will continue to build on the strong foundations he has laid to further internationalize the institution and safeguard education's long-term viability."
